We went for treatment for my father who had a very complicated case. Doctors in our hometown wanted my father to live with the issue for less than 10 years instead of treating the issue since he was already 65 years. By God's grace we found Dr. Saurabh who was willing to offer treatment on high priority. He had genuine concern to save his patient's life. Once my father has been admitted under him, he always prioritized his treatment and tests. He had explained 4 different methods of surgery that could be done with their pros and cons and the risks. He was suggesting the best approach but also made sure he would only do it if we are ok with it and informed that he could even perform the any of the other 3 procedures if we were to decide on it. Even post operation dressing during observation, he took care. Agreed he is a little harsh on his words. But it only benefits the patients. If you are willing to look past that, you can trust him with your life, as it should be. He has brought back our father's health in a miraculous way.

I was diagnosed with Prostate problem and was having frequent urination problems. PSA readings were fluctuating and above 6.Dr initially put me on Medicines and due to Pandemic I was on medication for more than 6 months in 2020.In March 2021 I visited the Dr and he did further tests and advised TURP surgery.I met the Dr in June 2021 and Dr prepared me mentally for the Sugery.
After further tests for Diabetes and heart functioning etc We fixed the date for Surgery.
I got admitted previous day to the Surgery into the Hospital. Early morning I was prepared for the surgery by the Barber by removing body hair.
I went to the Surgery room and I was given Anesthesia in the back and was told that I will have numbness below the groin.
Highlight was Nice Hindi film music of 80's of Kishore and Latha played in the surgery room.my eyes were covered and I could not see any thing.
For around an hour I heard the Film music. It was such a wonderful experience of going through a surgery with out pain and any tension.
I was moved to post operative ward and after around 2 hours I could move my legs and was moved to my room.
I would say a wonderful experience of undergoing a Surgery in Manipal Hospital. Special Thanks to Dr Saurab Vasisth and his team.

He did prostate exam too and IT WAS NOT EXPLAINED BY HIM THAT HE IS GOING TO DO A PROSTATE EXAM. I could have explained to him that i had a prostate exam 2 days ago and everything was normal.
I am very surprised he works at manipal. Maybe he is able to do something which others can't in some procedure somewhere. Have decided to visit manipal only after looking at reviews.
Also, do not visit this doctor ****** *** *** ** ********* *** ***** ** ** *** **** ** *** ****** ******** *** ******* ******* ****** ** ******** **** ** ** ****

I consulted the doctor for frequent urination
problem. *** **** ***** ** *** ******** **** ********* **** but he gave me a bunch of tests- to do
and I went back to him with a report of all the tests
on the same day for second round of consultation
only to find out that he sees no issues in the reports
and was send back home with some anti
inflammatory medicines.
However, a month later and I visit the doctor with
the same issue and he says that it he finds anomaly
in one of the previous reports( which he did not
communicate earlier) and then suggests to repeat
the 3 tests again (which are expensive -costs
around R 5500 approx)
Moreover he is impatient and rude towards the
patient, and I sincerely hope no one wastes their
money and energy on a doctor like him. All in all I
have had multiple consultations with doctors across
various departments, but never have I come across
an insensitive person like him.
P.S- I had to consult with another fellow doctor
from Urology department ** * ****** *** ******************* *********** ** *** **** ** ******** ** ***** ** ** **** *** * **** ******** ******* ** ****** ****** ** **********

The Doctor should have patience when it comes to interaction with patients in pain. He hardly shows any sense to answer the questions. I went for a kidney stone treatment to Manipal hospital. unfortunately it was a Sunday and he was the only doctor available. I was in pain hence went without any hesitation. but I was literally traumatized with his behaviour. he didn't even look at previous investigation or reports. just started shouting at me for know reason. for any questions asked, his response was rude. he immediately started scolding all the previous doctors and the treatment given by them. however, to my surprise he asked me to do the same set of tests and gave the same medicine that was given by others. Forced me to get admitted by making the situation alarming ******** * ****** *** * *** ** ****** I would only suggest to stay away from him ** *** **** ***** ** **** *** ******** ******* **** * ****** *** ** *** ***** ** ******* ********* ** **** my interaction was completely forgettable and I am never going back ** **** *******

Dr Saurabh Vasishta is someone who was recommended in our apartment group. So my mother in law went to consult him. While he seemed quite experienced, we were disappointed with his people skills. One can't expect a male urologist to fire a volley of questions at a 65 year old woman who has gone to consult him for the first time for a very private issue which most women feel uncomfortable even discussing, forget seeing a doctor. More empathy and emotional sensitivity on his part would be appreciated certainly.

I had a appointment with Dr. Sourabh Vashishtha, video consultation (Follow up), it was suppose to be scheduled at 8.20 AM but i received a call suddenly at 11:03 AM (without any prior information) while i was travelling, i have answer the call to inform the doctor that the call was suppose to be at 8.20 AM and since i am travelling now (11:00 AM) i cant discuss my issue. He burst out saying that he cant be available according to my scheduled and lots of other demeaning things with very rude tone and refused to my treatment.
Such unprofessional behavior by an experienced doctor is totally not acceptable. Where i have paid for his time.****** ** ******* ******** *** *** *********** *** ********* **** ***** ***** ***** *** **** **** ***** ****** ** **** ***** ******
